How Tempo turned one coach’s music taste into a top-performing station

The challenge

Tempo wanted to celebrate Coach Melissa’s anniversary as one of their longest-standing and most-loved coaches. They also wanted to do it in a way that felt meaningful, fresh, and interactive for members. Traditional content campaigns alone wouldn’t cut it.

The solution

• The Feed.fm curation team went to work to deliver a complete station full of tracks that were clean (no explicit content), cleared, and on-brand.

• The launch aligned with her anniversary as a coach, making it both celebratory and timely.

• The station was added to the app’s music menu, with the selected station visible at the start of each of her classes and a dropdown option if members wanted to change it.


This combination of personal tastes + expert curation made the station authentic to the coach while still aligned to brand tone and licensing requirements.

 

The results

The trainer-inspired station quickly became one of the top five stations in the app. Members loved hearing what inspired their coach. It created a sense of connection and exclusivity, as if they were working out with her in real time.
